X°Musa Duo unisce gli elementi che caratterizzano jazz, rock e musica classica utilizzando violoncello, contrabbasso, elettronica e loop.
Nelle composizioni, entrambi gli strumenti assume nuove funzioni: sono elettrificati e si rivolgono verso il futuro, rompendo la classica immagine che li lega al passato per restituirli al presente con una nuova forma.
Il duo apre le suo sonorità al jazz, assimilando l’improvvisazione come DNA della propria musica, nutrendosi di suoni elettrici e dell’espressività del rock per generare uno stile di rottura col passato “storico”.
XªMusa Duo unifies the elements that characterize jazz, rock and classical music using double bass, cello, electronics and loops.
In the compositions, both instruments assume a new function: they get electrified and turn their eyes towards the future, breaking the classical image that used to bind them relentlessly with the past to take them to the future with a new form.
The Duo opens its sonority to jazz, assimilating improvisation as the DNA of music, nourishing from the electric sounds and expressive energy of rock to generate a groundbreaking style.
